I could tell we were on the same page the first time we met, so it was no surprise I had such an amazing time shooting Marisa and Drew's wedding. What an awesome day!
That. Was. Awesome.
One reason I like to shoot weddings is because every wedding is different. Sometimes you shoot something formal in an upscale hotel, sometimes you're way out in the country. Sometimes there's a lot of rushing around. This wedding had a slower, more thoughtful pace, and I had a great time walking around Old Town with Deanna and Mike.
We love shooting weddings at the Fairmont Hotel, and we love to do it with awesome people! This one was so much fun.
Thanks Kira and Jay, and thanks to Elegance and Simplicity wedding planners for doing such a great job!
Dads at weddings. Kind of speaks for itself, I think.
Good job dads!
We recommend you enjoy a cool drink. ;)
Jess and Alex were married in a Russian Orthodox church in downtown Washington D.C. and then headed to Meadowlark Gardens for their reception. It rained, but that was ok, weddings aren't about weather, right?
Really, I need to get back to this church.

Sometimes people ask me where my favorite place to shoot is, and when I think about it, I don’t really have one. The weddings I remember the most and have the most fun at are the ones where people aren’t afraid to show their emotions. Like these guys.
But yeah, weddings at Top of the Town would be right up there if I had to pick a spot. :)
This is cool, Sarah and Manetho on the title page of Washingtonian!
Happy Turkey Day!
A wedding that overlooks the White House? Not a bad setup.
The W Hotel Ballroom is an awesome place to have a wedding, an amazing venue to photograph, and Sarah and Manetho were so fun to work with!
Congratulations to Manetho and Sarah!
This year Washingtonian Magazine recognized us as being one of the top wedding photographers in the DC Metro area. We are thrilled! Additionally, we received a call out for being “One To Watch”, meaning we’re are on the cutting edge of the industry, and we had one of ten coveted Real Wedding features in the January issue. Love and thanks go out to The Washingtonian for the incredible honor, and especially to our loyal couples for letting them know… they think we’re the BEST!!
